The tradition is back . . . It's the all-new A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

WHAT: Our annual "A Christmas Carol" is here and better than ever. Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of hope and redemption comes to life in a beautiful new production. Erika Hose has adapted this classic tale into a stage production that will leave you saying, "God Bless Us, Everyone!". The story centers on Ebenezer Scrooge, a penny-pinching miser who cares nothing for the people around him, least of all his hopelessly downtrodden employee Bob Cratchit and infectiously optimistic nephew, Fred. On Christmas Eve, after a frightening encounter with the ghost of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, Scrooge is visited by three spirits — the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come — who take him on an eye-opening journey to expose the truths he is reluctant to face. This year, Erika has also intertwined "The Gift of the Magi", the classic short story by O. Henry, into "A Christmas Carol". New Cast, New Sets, New Costumes . . . a New    "Christmas Carol", now with "The Gift of the Magi."

WHEN: December 5-7 & 11-14. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00pm. Saturday matinee at 2:00pm and Sunday matinee at 4:00pm. All doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance.

MURDER at the MOULIN ROUGE is an original murder-mystery-audience-participation-comedy (now there's a mouthful!) by Erika Hose. This origi is set in present day Weaverville, NC; a small town outside of Asheville with a diverse bohemian population full of artists, designers, musicians, singers, writers and dancers. The town was a run-down slum where drugs and crime were rampant. This was all before Mayor Gregory Goodman. In the last ten years, under his leadership, the city has seen a mass decline in crime and drugs and a rise in a culturally rich artistic crowd. The center of town is home to a beautiful park recently renamed, The Moulin Rouge, in honor of the famous Paris cabaret. All is happy, peaceful, musical and beautiful in the town of Weaverville, NC. That is until Cash Donavan arrives and their worlds are changed forever!

This production will feature a new and amazing cast performing an original script, audience participation and a chance for our guests to solve the murder! Get ready for the most fun night of theater as we present a murder-mystery-comedy that is sure to delight our audiences.
